Beastie Bar – Original RumbleRoller

With a perfect combination of bump placement, size, firmness, and flexibility, the Beastie overcomes the limitations of other massage balls. It’s an excellent addition to any deep-tissue tool set.

For most mobility work, a roller is your best choice. However, there are three great reasons to grab a Beastie:

1. Trouble spots
   When a dense knot of muscle is unresponsive to foam rolling, try a Beastie. Nothing works better for really deep, focused massage.
2. Limited space
   On the go? A Beastie fits easily in any bag, purse, glove compartment, or desk drawer. Do massage work wherever and whenever you need it.
3. Special needs
   If you have physical limitations that make it difficult to get on and off the floor, or if you’re in an environment (such as an office) where foam rolling isn’t appropriate, use a Beastie in your chair or against a wall for quick relief.

Beastie Ball or Bar?

The Beastie Bar contains two Beasties permanently mounted, but free to rotate, on a rigid fiberglass shaft. Both the Beastie and Beastie Bar have the same effect on muscle. Choose the Beastie for ultimate portability and to work into the smallest areas of your body. Choose the Beastie Bar if you prefer its 2-hand control.

Firmness Options

Both Beastie and Beastie Bar are available in 2 firmness options. Original (clear) is firm but still flexible. Xfirm (green) is extremely firm, similar to a lacrosse ball.

The best choice depends on both your sensitivity to pain and your method of use. For example, if you’re using the Beastie on the floor and putting your full weight on it, we recommend the Original version. If you’re using the Beastie against a wall, you’ll be applying much lower forces to it, and will probably respond better to the Xfirm.

Base and Stands

Some versions of the Beastie are packaged with a detachable base that snaps on and off the Beastie. The base elevates the Beastie and prevents it from rolling, which enables both greater intensity and new techniques.

Likewise, some versions of the Beastie Bar are packaged with a pair of detachable stands. The stands elevate the Beastie Bar off the floor and enable hands-free use.
